San Diego Comicon will be the only place to buy this Special Edition Hollywood Jem Doll, making me once again insanely jealous that I will not be attending the Con this year. She will be sold at the Convention for $125 and afterwards any remaining dolls will be sold online at the Hasbro site for a limited time. No news yet on why they thought that a crotch grabbing stand was a good idea, or why they decided to make her extra skinny this time around, but other than that, this doll looks awesome and I want one really bad. Rumor has it they plan on relaunching the doll line and while they're at it they should totally release a new cartoon series too. Of course I say that now, but if they did revamp another one of my childhood memories, I would probably just be angry about the changes they made this time around (ahem Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and then get super nostalgic about how much better thing were in the good old days.
